An uncompromising defensive midfielder, Didier Zokora will be hoping to impress scouts from Europe's leading clubs this summer. The tough-tackler began his career at ASEC Abidjan before moving to Belgium to join KRC Genk, where he picked up a Jupiler League title winner's medal in 2002. A transfer to St Etienne followed in 2004 and he is now recognised as one of the best players in French club football, leading to him being linked with Real Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal. The 25-year-old missed just one game during the Elephants' World Cup qualifying campaign and was a key figure as they reached the final of this year's African Cup of Nations.
