A versatile left-sided player, Ndri Romaric is unlikely to see much action at the World Cup finals. He did not feature at all during World Cup qualifying but his ability to provide cover on the wing or at full-back ensured coach Henri Michel included him in the squad for the 2006 African Cup of Nations, where he started two games. He made his name during a two-year spell at Beveren before joining Le Mans in the summer of 2005. However, his progress with the French top-flight side was halted when he was injured in a serious car crash and he can count himself fortunate to be around to travel to the World Cup.
