After missing out on selection for the last World Cup finals in his homeland, Celtic playmaker Nakamura will be desperate to make up for that disappointment. A gifted left-footed playmaker, Nakamura has proved to be one of few Japanese players to make his mark in Europe. He spent three seasons in Italy with Reggina before heading to Scotland a year ago, where he helped the Bhoys regain the SPL title. Made his international debut in 1998 against Australia while still with Yokohama F Marinos and has gone on to make well over 50 ppearances, with his goals tally well into double figures.
