Legendary defender who is both Mexico's and the world's most capped player. The 37-year-old stopper received the global accolade after picking up his 174th international cap in a spring friendly with Paraguay. Nicknamed the Emperor, Suarez has been picked sporadically for the national team during the last two years but has vast experience under his belt including two World Cup finals. Currently plays for American MLS side Chivas after a long and illustrious career at numerous clubs throughout both Mexico and South America. Something of a surprise inclusion in the squad for Germany by coach Ricardo La Volpe.
