A talented young goalkeeper who represents the future for the Mexican national side. Ochoa made his first-team debut for club side America aged 18 and quickly showed his skill and potential with a series of mature performances. The youngster was credited as being an integral part of America's record 28-game unbeaten run during the Clausura 2005 and Apertura 2006 seasons. He has progressed through the ranks from the under-23s to the Olympic Games squad and now the full national team following his debut in December 2005 against Hungary.
