Vastly experienced campaigner who became the fifth player to reach 100 caps for Mexico. That milestone arrived in 2004 and Pardo remains an integral part of coach Ricardo La Volpe's plans. The 29-year-old began his career as a right-sided wing-back with Atlas but moves to Tecos and more recently Club America has brought about a move into the centre of midfield where he plays as a linkman between defence and attack. With just four international goals to his name, Pardo is anything but a prolific scorer but does have experience of playing in the World Cup finals as a veteran of France 98.
