Bak is firmly in the veteran category at the age of 33 and made his debut for Poland well over a decade ago. A dependable, rugged performer, Bak can operate at the heart of defence or just in front of the back four and has won well over 50 caps for his country, having first featured against Cyprus in 1993. He made his name while playing his club football in France, firstly with Lyon and then with Lens. Now plies his trade like a number of European veterans in the Qatar league, playing for Al-Rayyan.
