One of Poland's key players if they are to make it past the group stages, Krzynowek offers pace and good passing ability on the left side of midfield. The 30-year-old has passed the 50-cap mark for his country and is nearly into double figures in the goalscoring charts, making him one of the stars of Pawel Janas' side. He made his international debut way back in 1998 against Slovakia and was a regular at the World Cup finals four years ago, having moved to Germany to play for Nurnberg. He has since joined Bayer Leverkusen and become one of the Bundesliga's top creative midfielders.
