A recent addition to the Poland set-up, Brozek earned a place on the plane to Germany as a result of some impressive performances for Wisla Krakow. He joined the Polish champions in the summer of 2001, having previously played for LKS Lodz and GKS Katowice. The 23-year-old only made his international debut in April 2005 against Mexico and didn't feature at all during the successful qualifying campaign, but won the nod ahead of more experienced performers such as Tomasz Frankowski and Piotr Wlodarczyk.
