Ronaldo made the move to Old Trafford for £12million after impressing United boss Sir Alex Ferguson in a pre-season friendly against Sporting Lisbon. After a troubled start to the current season Ronaldo finished the year in fine form and scored twice in Portugal's 3-0 friendly victory over Saudi Arabia in March to reaffirm his importance to the national side. On his day one of the best wide players in world football but the 21-year-old can be frustratingly inconsistent.
