Veteran keeper who is likely to be third choice behind Ricardo and Quim respectively for the World Cup finals. The 32-year-old only received his first call-up to the national side in November last year and played in a 1-1 friendly draw against Northern Ireland but is seen by coach Luiz Felipe Scolari as an experienced head and a safe par of hands. His call-up came on the back of a consistent season with Braga, with an injury to Bruno Vale being the key to him earning a place in the 23-man squad.
