Accomplished midfielder who has been a mainstay in the national side since the last World Cup in Japan and South Korea. Noor made his international debut during the 2000 Asian Cup but it was following his appointment as captain of club side Al Ittihad that he really came to the fore for Saudi Arabia. A useful tackler who is equally at home anywhere across the middle of the park, the 28-year-old also has an eye for goal and has scored many important strikes for both club and country. Alongside Saud Ali Khariri he forms a useful midfield partnership that looks set to shine in Germany.
