First-choice central defender who has cemented his position in the team following a series of injuries to Tukar Redha over the past couple of seasons. Al Qadi is a strong and quick defender who alongside Hamad Al Montashari has formed an impressive partnership during Saudi Arabia's qualification campaign for Germany. The youngster was in imperious form as The Falcons surprisingly beat South Korea 1-0 in the final round of qualification matches for this summer's World Cup finals. Al Qadi is one of the most highly-rated prospects in Asian football despite featuring in a weakened Saudi side that was embarrassingly dumped out of last December's West Asian Games at an early stage.
