Saudi Arabia's greatest every player and a veteran of three previous World Cups. Al Jabar is now 33 years of age but he remains a potent force in international football and is the current skipper of the national side. After winning his first cap in 1990 the evergreen striker looked set to call time on his international career after the last World Cup in Japan and South Korea but was tempted out of retirement by former coach Gabriel Calderon. He became the first Saudi to play for a European club when he spent five months in England with Wolves six years ago and could have prolonged his stay at Molineux had injury not blighted his brief stay.
