Best known for his outrageous hairstyles, Danijel Ljuboja is a swift left winger with an eye for goal. The 27-year-old, who is also happy playing as a central striker, has spent most of his professional career in France. He began his career with Sochaux before joining Strasbourg in 2000 and going on to net 34 times in 119 league appearances. Those displays earned him a transfer to Paris St-Germain in 2003, but he struggled for form in the capital and spent the 2005-06 campaign on loan at VfB Stuttgart. He found German football was to his liking and scored 12 times to persuade Stuttgart to make the move permanent. Ljuboja made his Serbia & Montenegro debut in February 2003 but is not a regular starter for the national team.
