Goalkeeper Dragoslav Jevric was a key figure in Serbia & Montenegro's successful qualification campaign. He played in all 10 matches and conceded just one goal as Ilija Petkovic's team topped their group ahead of Spain. The 31-year-old made his name with Crvena Zvezda in his homeland before joining Vitesse Arnhem in 1999. He stayed with the Dutch club for five-and-a-half years before losing his first-team place to Harald Wapenaar and joining Turkish Super League side Ankaraspor. He has built a reputation as one of the best shot-stoppers in Turkey over the past 18 months, enabling him to hold off a challenge from Ghana international Richard Kingston for the goalkeeping shirt at Ankaraspor.
