One of the tallest players in international football, Nikola Zigic will be hoping to use Germany 2006 to secure a move to one of Europe's major leagues. The prolific striker was a key figure in Crvena Zvezda's double-winning sides of 2004 and 2006 and has caught the eye of several English clubs, including Arsenal and West Ham United. The 25-year-old made his debut for Serbia & Montenegro in November 2003 and scored three times in his first nine international appearances. He did not find the target during the World Cup qualifiers but performed well enough to suggest he will replace Savo Milosevic as Mateja Kezman's strike partner at the finals.
