Dick Advocaat has brought Lee back into the international fold after previous coach Jo Bonfrere had dispensed with the 30-year-old's services for being too slow. However, whereas four years ago he was a regular in the South Korea side that won its way to the semi-finals of the World Cup, Lee is likely to have to be content with a place on the substitutes bench this time around. However, he will provide cover on the left-hand side of midfield. Lee has spent the last two years in Turkey with Trabzonspor.
