The 24-year-old Shimizu S-Pulse striker is likely to find himself on the substitutes bench this summer after making only two brief appearances during the qualifying campaign. He played in the 2004 Olympic team and moved to Japanese side Shimizu S-Pulse from Suwon Bluewings in 2004.
