The Seongnam Ilhwa keeper has been unable to displace Lee Woon-Jae in the South Korea side and has won only a handful of caps. The 26-year-old came to prominence as a member of the South Korea team that played at the Olympic Games in Sydney six years ago but he has never really fulfilled his potential at the top level. He previously starred for Busan Icons and played a key role in their 2004 Korean Cup final success. He moved to Seongnam Ilhwa last year.
