The young Chunnam Dragons shot-stopper is widely tipped to be Lee Woon-Jae's long-term successor. He played in the South Korean team at the Athens Olympics two years ago, starring in his country's four matches against Greece, Mexico, Mali and Paraguay. He was sidelined by a ligament injury earlier this year but has returned to fitness in time to gain valuable experience in Germany.
