Another member of Spain's exciting band of precocious attacking talents. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was so impressed by the youngster that he paid hometown club Seville £10.5million to secure his services in January 2004. Billed as the replacement for veteran Dutchman Dennis Bergkamp at the London club, the left-footed forward is equally at home either as a support or regular striker. On the national stage Reyes has had to play second fiddle on a number of occasions which goes some way to explaining his rather meagre record of just two goals in more than ten international appearances.
