Goalkeeper who rose to prominence after making a £6million move to Liverpool at the beginning of the 2005-06 season. Made his debut for the national side in a 2-0 victory over Uruguay last August - coincidently the same month he made the move to the Premiership. Known as something of a spot-kick specialist having saved seven penalties from nine kicks faced at previous club Villarreal in the 2004-05 season, Reina is a talented keeper who has made the number own jersey at Anfield his own under Spanish coach Rafa Benitez. Showed his talent by keeping nine consecutive clean sheets in the league during the current campaign to set a new Premiership record.
