The 22-year-old has spent the last three years with IFK Gothenburg and has captained the side this season. He started his career with local side Jonkopings Sodra IF before being snapped up by Gothenburg in 2003. Although unlikely to break in to Lars Lagerback's first team in Germany, the experience of being involved in a World Cup squad will do wonders for his future development.
