The 23-year-old Ajax striker only made his international debut in January 2005 against South Korea but marked the game with a goal after coming on as a substitute. He also netted in the friendly game against the Czech Republic in August of that year. Rosenberg's club career began with Malmo but he made his name while on loan with Halmstads where he netted 14 goals. He signed a four-year deal with Ajax last summer and scored on his debut for the Dutch side in the 2-2 draw with Brondby.
