The 32-year-old midfielder has spent a decade in the international limelight and starred for his country at the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004. Jonson spent the 2004-05 campaign with Norwich City but left Carrow Road 12 months ago following the Canaries' relegation from the Premiership. He moved to Djurgardens where he won the Swedish title in his first season back in his homeland. Jonson enjoyed the best club form of his career with Danish side Brondby where he spent five years until 2004 and has also starred for Helsingborgs.
