The midfielder is a regular member of the Sweden squad but he failed to impress during his brief spell in England with Everton. The 27-year-old spent an unhappy two years on Merseyside, starting only 29 Premiership games for the club following his £2.5million switch from Stabaek. He was eventually transferred to FC Copenhagen at the end of the 2003-04 campaign and is still with the Danish side. Linderoth started his top-flight career at IF Elfsborg and spent three years with the club before moving to Stabaek in 1999. He represented his country at Euro 2004 and the last World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
