The enigmatic striker has spent the last two seasons with Juventus where he has formed a deadly partnership with French forward David Trezeguet. Still only 24, Ibrahimovic is a veteran of the World Cup finals in South Korea and Japan four years ago and Euro 2004. He made his international debut against the Faroe Islands in January 2001 but made his name with Malmo after coming through the youth team ranks at FBK Balkan. He moved to Ajax in 2000 and, after an impressive four years with the Dutch side, sealed a big-money switch to Juve in August 2004. He has since won back-to-back Serie A titles with the Turin giants.
