Obilali Kodjovi has made the number one shirt at Etoile Filante his own despite being only 22 and is already a big hero with the Lome-based side's fans. He was Togo's back-up keeper at this year's African Cup of Nations in Egypt after being called up as a late replacement for the injured Safiou Salifou. Earlier in his career he was offered a trial by French second division side Niort but failed to secure a permanent contract. Kodjovi was voted as one of the top three goalkeepers in Togo after the 2004-05 campaign.
