The 28-year-old goalkeeper will be Togo's second-choice shot-stopper in Germany but will be an able understudy to Kossi Agassa. Ouro Tchagnirou only played in one World Cup qualifier - against Zambia - but impressed in the African Cup of Nations defeat against Angola earlier this year. He is currently playing his club football in Mali for AS Djoliba and acted as back-up keeper for his country at the 2002 African Cup of Nations.
