The 37-year-old Falkirk player-coach was tempted out of international retirement in August 2005, four years after calling time on his Trinidad & Tobago career. Latapy moved to Scotland in October 1998 and played for Hibernian, Rangers and Dundee United before teaming up with the Bairns three years ago. He helped the club clinch promotion to the SPL by winning the first division title in 2005. Before moving to Scotland, Latapy enjoyed a spell in Portugal where he played for Academica Coimbra, FC Porto and Boavista. He has also won the Trinidad & Tobago Player of the Year award on five occasions.
