Young goalkeeper who is viewed as the long-term replacement for veteran number one Ali Boumnijel. The 22-year-old rose to prominence after keeping goal at the 2004 Olympics and his performances in Athens earned him a full call-up to the national side. Since then he has made only a handful of appearances but Kasraoui has been compared favourably to legendary keeper Chokri El Ouaer and is rated highly by current coach Roger Lemerre. The agile and confident goalkeeper came through the ranks at Esperance Tunis in the country's capital where he is currently understudy to Ivory Coast number one Jean-Jacques Tizie.
