Trabelsi, 28, made his international debut in 1998 and has gone on to earn more than 50 caps including playing a starring role in the Tunisia side that won the 2004 African Cup of Nations. The quick and strong right-back moved to current club Ajax in 2001 and, but for a serious knee injury and contract dispute, has been a virtual ever-present for the Amsterdam club since. Trabelsi has continually been linked with a move to the Premiership with Arsenal and with his contact in Holland expiring this summer the World Cup could be the perfect shop window for his talents.
