Promising defender who played a key role in Tunisia's qualification for the World Cup finals. Like many of his younger team-mates, the 22-year-old centre-half enjoyed his first taste of international football during the 2004 Olympic Games. Hagui completed a transfer to Strasbourg soon after and has since established himself as one of the finest defensive prospects in French football despite missing a large portion of his first season with a shoulder injury. A quick and aggressive defender and favourite with coach Roger Lemerre who is appearing in his first World Cup finals.
