Adaptable player who can feature in midfield or in attack, Melliti is something of a latecomer to the international scene. Only made his debut for Tunisia last year, but impressed in the African Cup of Nations and did enough to earn a place in Roger Lemerre's 23-man squad for Germany. A strong, powerful figure, Melliti has played club football in Ukraine with Vorskla Poltava and currently plies his trade with Turkish side Gaziantepspor. Won the nod ahead of the likes of Imed Mhadhebi and Selim Ben Achour for the summer showpiece, with his versatility a key factor.
