Versatile forward who can play as either a striker or winger. Voronin scored on his international debut against Greece in November 2002 and has since become an integral part of the side. Left Ukraine and moved to Germany as a teenager and has worked his way through the Bundesliga ranks with Borussia Monchengladbach and FC Koln before joining Bayer Leverkusen in 2004. With a record of one goal roughly every other game in German football this season, the 25-year-old could make an impact on the biggest stage of all during the summer.
