Hard-working midfielder who has plenty of experience of domestic football. The 29-year-old has made only 16 appearances for the national side but with all of those caps coming in the last few years - mainly in the qualification campaign for this summer's tournament - he is almost certain to make the starting line-up. A predominantly defensively-minded midfielder, his job is to break up opposition attacks and feed the ball to more creative players. Having been picked for the recent run of spring friendlies he is clearly a key member of the coach's short-term plans.
