Manchester City midfielder Claudio Reyna will be one of the most experienced players on show at Germany 2006, having been part of the USA squads for the last three World Cups. The playmaker represented his country at the 1992 Olympics before being handed his senior international debut against Norway in January 1994. His career has been interrupted by several serious injuries but he passed the 100-cap mark in 2004. The 32-year-old has spent his entire club career in Europe and had spells with Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, and Rangers before joining Sunderland in a £4million deal in 2001. A knee injury prevented him making a major impact for the Black Cats and he has continued to battle against fitness problems since joining City in 2003.
