A pacy, unpredictable forward, Wolff's ability to create chances for his strike partners is likely to see him handed a starting berth for the USA in Germany. The 29-year-old made his senior international debut against Jamaica in 1999 and has been a regular member of the squad ever since, helping the USA to reach the quarter-finals of the 2002 World Cup and win the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2002 and 2005. He began his club career with a five-year spell at Chicago Fire, where he collected a MLS title winner's medal in 1998. He moved on to Kansas City in 2003 and missed out on a second title when the Wizards lost 3-2 to DC United in the 2004 Championship game.
